VIBE ALIVE

Sixteen Year 9 students represented Coona High last week in Coonamble.  Vibe Alive was a two day youth festival, encouraging tolerance and teamwork.  The festival incorporated music, sport, dance and art in a high-energy, youth friendly setting. Students had the chance to meet inspiring role models, learn about healthy living and career options and boosted their literacy skills in a spelling buzz.  All students enjoyed a concert in the evening showcasing hip hop dancers and Australian Idol star, Casey Donovan.  Team members were Josh Thurston, Cory Ross, Dean Wrench, David Sulter, Dyllon Tighe, Jarrod Michael, Zac Khodary, Dominic Stafford, Taneya Watton, Imogen Morrissey, Aleesha Connell, Ruby Bouwsema, Melissa Couglan, Gabrielle Teal-McEvoy, Anna Ramage and Natalee Trow.  Well done Coona Gold and Coona Blue for your enthusiasm and talent!
