OPEN GIRLS NETBALL

On the 1st of September, Coonabarabran High School’s Open Girls Netball team travelled to Sydney for the Combined High Schools Knockout Tournament.  This is the third year in a row that the girls have had the right combination to win the North West regional finals.  This is an outstanding achievement for the girls and an improvement from the previous years. This gained them a position to compete in the CHS knockout finals in which they now rank 14th in the state. The girls are looking forward to being more competitive next year. It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the girls on their journey with Tahlia falling out of a trolley… some bodysuits mysteriously going missing… (Sam!!) and the opposition questioning “is Simone serious?”.  The team consisted of: Samantha Munns, Tahlia Kable, Hannah Johnson, Hannah Draper, Keira Daniels, Chloe Sulter, Alana Cain, Simone Munns and Corrine Towney.
