Excursion to Siding Springs Observatory

Twelve students and staff from the Support Unit spent a glorious Tuesday at Siding Springs Observatory as guests of Mr Jason Newton and John Shobbrook.  Kody enjoyed our stops at each of the planets on our way up. In the Exporatory,  Zac Duncan found the Voyager II model particularly fascinating.  Mitchell Taylor and Nathanial de Costa were in awe of the ceiling opening and telescope rotating in the Faulkes Observatory. The astronomy photographs fascinated Bill Martin, Justin Antaw and Caleb Sovic.

Kaylen Robertson thanked our hosts for sharing their interests so passionately.  Thanks also to Cooinda for the use of the bus.  It certainly was a most memorable day.
