Goethe comes to Coona

Coonabarabran High School will be entering the Goethe Institut Australien film competition. Every year the Goethe Institut Australien runs a German film competition, where students and schools are invited to submit a 4 minute feature film in German. This year we celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall, and as a result the theme of this year’s competition is Mauern, Grenzen und Horizonte (Walls, Borders and Horizons).

This programme is being run as an extension activity for those students who have achieved excellent academic results in the field of German. We congratulate the following students on their selection: Simon Bouwsema, Fred Jerry, Eddy Wilkin, Marcus Young, Jemmae Dow, Connor Graham, Liam Martin, Danielle Andrews, Alice Fosdick and Emily Green.
