On Monday 23rd March, Year 11 Ag students travelled out to Sam and Megan Clifton’s property “Penalva”. This excursion is part of collecting information about the many dimensions of a farm landscape and business. As part of their Agriculture course, students need to report on how a farm manager makes his decisions amongst the myriad of factors which interfere and complicate these decisions.
Sam did a great job of explaining and highlighting the important parts of his farm and the reasons behind his strategies. This is no small task and we thank Sam and Megan for making time for these students and allowing them to gain insight into the operation of the modern farm.
