School Blue Awards, 2009

"Nomination Forms" for the Coonabarabran High School P&C Blue Awards can be obtained from the receptionist at the High School.

Nominations close Friday, 3.00pm, 27 November and can be returned to Mrs Wendy Starr at the High School Office.

To be eligible the person nominated must be a student at Coonabarabran High School.  Teams may also be nominated.

The criteria for consideration for an Award is for outstanding achievement in a school-based or school-related activity, in any of the following areas:

1            Sporting            -             1st, 2nd or 3rd in State Competition

                                          -             State or National Representative

2            Academic         -             HSC UAI Result 95%

                                          -             Top 10 in State Subject List

                                          -             State/National/International Academic competitions: 

                                                        a minimum of 3 High Distinctions in different subject areas

                                          -             School Certificate and Higher School Certificate examinations:

                                                        a minimum of 3 Band 6 awards

3            Other Fields of Endeavour

                                          -            Attainment or excellence at State or National level                                                                                                           consistent with the criteria stated above.

Consideration will be dependent on the number of competitors in the nominated field of endeavour, and provided such achievement also reflects positive attitudes and participation in the school community.
