North West Open Girls Netball

Six Coonabarabran High School students represented the Castlereagh area in the North West netball trials held on the 8th April.   Despite the strong competition and hot conditions, four of our students were a standout at the trials resulting in their selection into the North West Open Girl’s Netball Team. 

Tahlia Kable, Hannah Johnston, Simone Munns and Corrine Towney demonstrated their outstanding netball skills to obtain a position into this team.   Tahlia’s inclusion in the North West team this year marks an incredible 5th year in a row.  This is a fantastic achievement for a humbled sports star.  

The team is due to compete in the NSW Combined High Schools state netball carnival from the 16th to 18th June in Sutherland. All the best girls!!
