2009 NSW History Competition

Run by the NSW History Teachers Association, this year’s NSW History Competition tested a wide range of skills and knowledge of the Stage 5 History course for years 9 and 10. This year students from Year 10 and Year 9 Centauris participated in the competition. The competition provides a good review of the course content and is valuable as a examination practise tool, particularly in the lead-up to the School Certificate examination. Overall, 18 students were successful in being awarded certificates of achievement.
