Australian Mathematics Competition

Coonabarabran High School students again entered the Australian Mathematics Competition which was held on the 6th August and once again performed with exceptional ability. Thirteen students sat the paper with them gaining the following results.

This competition tests everything from basic numeracy skills through to advanced problem solving. This is the second year that a Proficiency Certificate has been awarded for students reaching a preset standard in both skills and problem solving, using their skills in the world around them.
