YEAR 12 'HAPPY DAY' FUNDRAISER

     Year 12 students hijacked the morning assembly on Thursday 3rd July as a start to a ‘HAPPY DAY’ fundraiser for their farewell.  They had invited the school to come dressed in colourful, happy clothes for a gold coin donation.

     During the assembly, Mr Sharp and Mrs Macintosh judged the most colourfully clad students.  First prizes were awarded to Sam Munns and Connor Graham; John Korff and Jessica Fitzpatrick came second, while Kate Murphy, James Grant, Melanie Mills and Matt Danson received ‘happy, smiley face’ lolly pops for their great effort.

     At the conclusion of the assembly, and to start the day on a happy note, Year 12 sang ‘If Your Happy and You Know It’ to the school.  See pictures below. 

     During recess, smiley cakes were sold to the happy students.  The day’s activities raised $440.  Year 12 would like to thank the students and staff for supporting this great day.
