Coonabarabran High is a comprehensive, public, co-educational, high school with a Year 7-12 enrolment of around 420 students. It is located on the Newell Highway on the southern edge of Coonabarabran in Central-West NSW Australia. It is near the Warrumbungle National Park and world-famous Siding Spring Observatories. Notice to all parents & carers:  The school does not supply medication i.e panadol. If your child needs to take medication, please send it to the front office in an envelope with your child's name and dosage (amounts/times) clearly written out. Please also supply appropriate medication i.e epipens, for those who suffer from anaphylactic shock. If your child has a food allergy please read the school canteen's food allergy risk minimisation:
